Also, Netscape 4.7x has an Identity section in the Preferences under Newsgroups and Mail, but I can't find anything like that in Netscape 6. At one point during the setup I was asked for some of that information, but I can't find any way to reset or modify it from Netscape 6 once it's been started.

Netscape 6 may be more stable than 4.75, but it seems to have removed some vital features.

I'd no problem for this. But i've installed Netscape 6pr3, and all works fine, without any problem: all my mail and news are here, nothing lost. Didn't tried it with 6pr1 or 6pr2. Yves Baudrier, registerd Linux user #182046

Does your copy of 6pr3 have an Identity section under Preferences/Mail? I thought I was running 6pr3, but maybe I wasn't, or maybe I missed something about how to get the mail imported.
