[opensuse] Firefox 2 crash on "save link as..."
Hello list, I experience frequent crashes of firefox when I do a "right-click", "save link as...". The crash occurs before the "save as" dialog box could appear. I then restart firefox and the download will work. I can't pinpoint the time when this started occuring (long time ago), but it may be linked with my upgrading Thunderbird to version 2. To try and fix this, I re-installed both firefox and thunderbird (FF from the update repository, TB from packages found on the BuildService). Same story. OpenSuSE 10.2 32bit MozillaFirefox-2.0.0.14-0.1 mozilla-nspr-4.7.1-21.1 mozilla-xulrunner181-1.8.1.14-0.2 MozillaThunderbird-translations-2.0.0.14-6.4 MozillaThunderbird-2.0.0.14-6.4 MozillaFirefox-translations-2.0.0.14-0.1 Has anyone seen this yet ? Yes, I've had the same problem for quite some time.

Sounds like a bug I've heard of about the Gtk filepicker crashing.
Try to set the pref ui.allow_platform_file_picker to false and see if it still happens.
