I've been trying to search the suse list at lists.suse.com but I cant find anything related to this matter, it returns zero hits. I'd like to limit my current 100MBit eth0 to 0,5MBit. Preferably both in and out. This machine is serving as a router (kernel 2.2.x) for a LAN (192.168.0.0). Abuse is a problem so I'm forced to limit the bandwith somehow. Shapecfg and cbq are two options I have looked into, but are there any other options that work better? TIA
Wow, looks like I managed to ask about something noone has any knowledge of.
:-)

Hey Morsal, can you please tell us how you managed that? I'm getting cable in near future and would like to use this feature... Kind regards, Ziga On Wednesday 02 May 2001 23:01, Morsal Roudbay wrote:
