RE: [SLE] kerberos lib's for Suse 9.2
This exactly what I was looking for. Almost always use Yast in ncurses mode. Found the rpm, as you described, and received the following;
Apparently, libkrb5.so.3 is provided by krb5-1.4-16.i586.rpm and is available on the mirrors at pub/suse/i386/9.3/suse/i586/krb5-1.4-16.i586.rpm
If this doesn't match what you're trying to accomplish, maybe it would help if you described what packages you're trying to install on which version(s) of
SUSE.
Right. Sorry about that. Wait, I included that in the original post (and Subject); Used, from CLI, #yast -i to install pgadmin3-1.2.2-1.st2.i586.rpm, however... <snip> Trying to get the latest pgadmin3 installed on Suse 9.2, but Yast isn't sorting out the dependencies as hoped for. From your post, above, it is included in 9.3. If I install it on 9.2 do you expect there to be any issues? Thanks again for your help. Much obliged. ~James

My bad! Sorry... my twitchy 'delete' key finger strikes again...

YaST couldn't "sort" it out because the package isn't available in 9.2

YaST does an extremely good job of "sorting out" dependencies, as it demonstrated by forcing you to look at 9.3 :-)

It wouldn't surprise me at all, given it's security related. I'd be inclined to experiment a little, but your situation sounds like it might be different. Sorry, but I just don't have an answer off the top of my head. I'm curious now to see what others might have to say... regards, - Carl
