I don't remember it exactly, but I believe you have to start X with a special -multi-head tag or something like it. I'll try to dig around for it later. I did find this from google search on "XFree86 dual head display" http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://www.linux-user.de/ausgabe/2001/12/044-dual/dual.html&prev=/search%3Fq%3DXFree86%2Bdual%2Bhead%2Bdisplay%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26safe%3Doff (english translated from german by google) ;) and the original in german: http://www.linux-user.de/ausgabe/2001/12/044-dual/dual.html Once you've figured it out, be sure and post the process to the list so we can all benefit! :) Travis.

Yes, I use the G450DH ,running 8.0 Can you tell us how far you've gotten trying ? Clue : Boot up into level 2 or 3 ,both non-graphical logins. once there, as root run sax --help If you dont need hand-holding and know most details of that card and more so, the properties of the monitors, you'll be up and running in 2 minutes. though you'll have to be care with the mouse setup sometimes. Also, stay with the 16bpp colour depth for now. And dont enable 3D acceleration Do let us all know, how you fared. -- Kemdi IN_SuSE_d Since 5.2 123792 of counter.li.org ICQ:112290572
