When you say that pilot-xfer doesn't work, what have you tried? Standard test might be something like pilot-xfer -p /dev/usb/ttyUSB1 -l which should list all the databases on your Palm. Once you know pilot-link works, you could try chasing KPilot, but I've no idea about that because I use JPilot. From my limited experience of KPilot in 9.1, it seems to try set ports, completely ignoring whatever I've set in the preferences! I updated (apt-get) to latest mantel kernel an everything is fixed. By the way, why i am no more requested to reinstall NVIDIA kernel modules given the kernel update? Alle 18:44, mercoledì 19 maggio 2004, John Pettigrew ha scritto:

Don't know if this will help you, I got Kpilot to work with my Handera 330 through the infrared port of my laptop. 1. Set Kpilot to use, /dev/pilot 2. link /dev/pilot to /dev/ircomm0 (this may vary) 3. as root run, 1. setserial /dev/ttyS1 uart none 2. modprobe irda0 3. irattach irda0 4. press hotsync on the Palm device One warning, I have my conduits set to "Palm device overides" for conflict resolution, otherwise I kept getting duplicate entries and appointments got really screwed up.
