Does anyone know of a script to show Man-pages on a web server? (Tried my friend Google, but found only a few rather outdated ones). /Marty

"#NameOfCommand" in the url field of konqueror and it will show the appropriate man page. Alternately "man:/NameOfCommand" I know these work with Konq but I haven't had any luck using this method w/ other browsers (although I haven't tried to hard) BTW info pages are also available in Konqueror "info:/NameOfCommand" and the susehelp page with search (assuming SuSEhelp is installed) "127.0.0.1" and follow the link at the bottom of the page Hope that helps - -- dh Kucinich for President (US) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFANilJBwgxlylUsJARAoofAJ9/bacp131rFhyqAlOZDvPoKRx3IwCfc0Wj QRN3YUf2hJROh2+FXlqZg5U= =44ll -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

Thanks David, but, sorry for not being specific before, I'm really trying to put all documentation (i.e. Man, Info, Package specific and HOWTOs, but also other like books, white papers, company specific etc. etc.) on one networked server, so that users can access it regardless of the workstation (e.g. Windoze/IE, too). A Doc-server, that is. The feature in Konqueror is only local, (unless you're running a X-session to said server) so I don't think it can solve my problem here. /Marty
