I finally found a wireless keyboard / mouse combo that had a keyboard I could actually stand. It is the Belkin something or other: http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=&Section_Id=100&pcount=&Product_Id=156439 Anyway, the keyboard is PS/2 and that works fine. The mouse is USB and when I booted up SuSE 9.0 it detected that I had a new mouse and asked me to choose from the list. I just chose the Microsoft Intellimouse (USB) and it worked. However, the scroll wheel does not respond. When I press the scroll wheel down it works as a middle mouse button, so that is all set, but I would like the actual scroll effect because it's trippy and such. Anyway, I opened the XF86Config file and it said that the mouse had a scroll wheel, but it's obviously not working. Any ideas? I had many problems with my USB mouse until I tweaked my XF86Config file thus ... Section "InputDevice" Driver "mouse" Identifier "Mouse[1]" Option "Buttons" "7" Option "Device" "/dev/mouse" Option "Name" "Autodetection" Option "Protocol" "imps/2" Option "Vendor" "Sysp" Option "ZAxisMapping" "6 7" EndSection ... The "Buttons" " 7" and "ZAxisMapping" "6 7" made it work. HTH
Hi Jason, Try adding this line to your "InputDevice" section: Option "ZAxisMaqpping" "4 5" Regards, Glen On Wednesday, December 10, 2003, at 01:18 PM, Pacheco Jason NPRI wrote:
