Hello Razvan Indeed, not everything is quite correct on your side. I can see you are running Postfix but under which Suse version? In Suse 7.3 you need to edit /etc/rc.config.d/postfix.rc.config and set the value of POSTFIX_LOCALDOMAIN to you domain name: POSTFIX_LOCALDOMAIN="telemach.ro" If using other Linux distro, find main.cf (Postfix configuration file) and set "myorigin" to you domain name: myorigin="telemach.ro" And the restart Postfix. Nothing on your side, I get that all the time. It is the suse list server that can't look up your domain name when your mail gets to it. Your mail server should retry after a few minutes, and after that at regular intervals over a five day period (at least that's the default behaviour of suse's sendmail config). For some reason, suse's receiving list server at times can't look up my domain, even though it can send mail to me just fine at the same time. It usually works, so I haven't paid much attention to it //Anders
yes, seems you're right, the problems only lasted for about 1 hour. Anders Johansson wrote:

The ttl for telemach.ro is currently one hour...the poster may want to increase that if he has any control over it.

List mail is sent from a different system than it's received. The situation should improve; I've just added dnscache to ns1. -- -ckm
