[opensuse] extended lastcomm ??
Hi all, as you know, lastcomm will give you information about the previously executed commands. http://www.gnu.org/software/acct/manual/html_node/lastcomm.html has a better description anyway.
From the example shown on that page you can see that the output is a bit too rough as it only shows the command, not the arguments... So if I execute 'vi /etc/passwd', lastcomm will show me this:
vi martin pts/4 0.19 secs Tue Jul 23 14:13 and not "vi /etc/passwd" as I'd like to... Can anyone suggest me such an accounting tool which offers such level of detail? TIA, Martin -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Have a look at your .bash_history file which shows what was actually typed at the command prompt. -- Ken Schneider SuSe since Version 5.2, June 1998 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
