[opensuse] why i586 packages are shown is YAST in 64 bit system
Hello: The subject line says it. In YAST software manager not only the x86_64 but the i586 packages are listed as well. Is this normal? In 32 bit system only i586 packages are shown. There are some apps where you have a choice of 32 & 64 and either will work on 64 bit systems. On the other hand, 32 bit systems can only run 32 bit packages, so there's no point in listing 64 bit. IIRC, for a while Firefox and Seamonkey were listed in both versions, due to availability of 64 bit plugins. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
