I am using SuSe 7.2 and Logitech, usb, opical wheel mouse. I go to sax2 and choose logitech usb wheel mouse and then when I apply it I lose the function of my mouse. I am trying to install the correct drivers for my mouse so I can use the wheel on my mouse. Does anyone have any idea how I can get this to work for me. Thanks for your help ahead of time

For USB, make sure you select the device to be /dev/input/mice not /dev/mouse or /dev/psaux from the menu provided. :-) -- Rachel

Thanks for the suggestion. I went back to check and I did select /dev/input/mice still not working (unresponsive mouse) Any more suggestions? ;<)

I was having a similar problem getting the mouse whell working. However, I found the solution on SuSE Support Database, I am attaching the html file with solution. However, I did it by runing SaX2 directly from kde2 (and not from plain console and init 3 and so on) and it worked perfectly. However, configure the things out, but do not run the imwheel. Restart and try using the mouse wheel in some application, kmail for instance. If it doesn't work, start the imwheel :-) I hope You will find this info useful :] Yours, Ziga Dolhar
