Hi, my SuSE 9.2 box (450 MHz, 768 MB RAM, 1 hard disk with 30 GB) doesn't boot anymore. Today I did a YOU. Next time I tried to boot, it didn't do it anymore. It is stopping after trying to initialize the nfs mounts: Importing Net File Ssystem (NFS) Windows ME is booting as expected. Windows 2000 as well. I booted with the SuSE 9.2 DVD and chose automatically repair the system. It found 3 packages which had errors and I told it to repair them. Result: no difference. I tried to boot the failsafe option: no difference. I can ping the box from another one, but not login (it didn't get to that point). Well any ideas would be appriciated! Thanks Martin

boot back into single user mode:
At the SuSE boot prompt, just type a 1 into the boot line.
When in single user mode, then run yast (it will come up in character cell
mode). Then go to system/run level editor and disable nfs and nfsboot.
You should then be able to proceed.
