Ltmodem package: missing from SuSE 9.0 Personal!
Hi all! I tried to install my "Digitan 56k WinModem", but then YaST says that the ltmodem package is required. So I told YaST to go ahead while it looks for the package. Then it said that it could not find the package and asks me if I want to try again. I have a Lucent Microelectronics WinModem (11c1:0440) with a DSP. I noticed that it is available as part of the Professional package on CD1, but not the Personal package. Any idea where I can get the ltmodem package for 9.0 personal? Any idea where I can get the ltmodem package for 9.0 personal? I just installed SuSE 9.0 Profesisonal on my laptop, and ltmodem was included. I'm not sure if the RPM is avaibable on the SUSE ftp site yet, but you should also go to this URL: http://www.ibiblio.org/mdw/HOWTO/Winmodems-and-Linux-HOWTO.html
This has a section on ltmodem.

Hello I got mine here and works fine http://www.physcip.uni-stuttgart.de/heby/ltmodem/ by the way you must use /dev/ttyLTO in modem selection On Monday 10 November 2003 10:41, Jerry Feldman wrote:
