Make sure you're compiling from SuSE modified sources, vanilla kernels don't have support for Reiser yet... After you ensure that, it's under Filesystems, along with the rest.
I want to compile a new kernel but I am wondering how do I get ReiserFS support in it. I tried to compile and reboot with the new kernel and it just says " VFS : Unable to mount root" root / is reiserfs

Well..my first mistake was to delete the SuSE source and download a new kernel. I am on the suse FTP site and am wondering whats the name of the kernel source package? The SuSE FTP site is slow. Have a look at: ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/6.4/full-names/i386/ Get the file lx_suse*.rpm. If you're using 6.3, replace 6.4 with 6.3 in the URL above ;). -- -=|JP|=- "Why, oh, why didn't I take the blue pill?" I found another way actually :) You do not need to have the suse source you can just go to the reiserfs website and download the patch and apply it to a non-suse source.
