What is the default route of the VMware client? It should be set to the address of eth0. FW_DEV_INT="eth0" The other two are not part of the host machine which in this case is also being used as a router. -- Ken Schneider UNIX since 1989, linux since 1994, SuSE since 1998 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

That was it! - works a charm ok now. ................................. VMware is a sweet product. Glad you have it working. It all can be a bit tricky to setup. Glad to help, Jeffrey -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
