My drive died last night. I'm reinstalling on a new machine and YOU keeps failing. I'm trying ftp.suse.com /pub/suse and it sys file not found on the server. I've also tried /pub/suse/i386/7.3 as well as other servers. When I try the Graphic version of YaST2 I get a "Grabnotviewable" message and the completion screen shows up. there is also an Invalid ELF header message regarding the flash pluggin that appeared lat week before the crash. This new machine also has nvidia card!

still no luck here What is the correct directory fou YOU with the ftp.suse.com, or ftp.nrc.ca ?

Fixed this there was a few YaST2 packages not installed. Luckily I still had Yast on the machine.
there is also an Invalid ELF header message regarding the flash pluggin that appeared last week before the crash.
This new machine also has nvidia card! I now have the nvidia flash screen during X start up. I changed the mouse, keyboard, and video card since the machine was initially setup.
There are some firewall troubles that are stopping me from getting mail, but it seems to be OK when I restart it. I'm thinking that my IP has changed again.

OK I tried it again this evening expecting it to fail again and it worked! I still can't get the USB to function though. The Celeron in the other room also running 7.3 does it just fine. rchotplug status returns devfs partial, no busses found there was no entry in fstab created for usb, and usbview doesn't show anything /proc/bus/usb/devices and drivers are both there but devices remians empty. Also fdisk -l on the celeron shows me /dev/sda1 and the IDE drive on the P4 it just returns with out any output
