I recently downloaded Kylix 3 Open Edition from Borland and I am wondering does anyone know where I can find a book that covers the C++ part of this program. I have searched the major book sites and can only find books that deal with Delphi. I am learning C++ and any books covering Kylix 3 would be helpful as long as they deal with C++. Did you get the C++ part to work? If you have downloaded the edition that is free, for Linux, then I suggest you try compiling one of the example programs. On this box, it doesn't compile ... only the Delphi part works.

I don't think you will easilly find books for Kylix C++. Borland is discontinuing Kylix C++. It is replaced by CBuilderX. (THey have a personal edition available for free) CBuilderX is still in it's infancy, so it still needs a lot of work. If you want to do console apps, it is very good, but for GUI apps, you'll have to wait for the second version.
