Hi, It's possible not to include the text of message that we are replying, or I'm I missing some Kmail configuration? LC

I can't find such a setting either, but you can always select the quoted text and hit "delete", since it's a free text editor, and the quote isn't protected. Now tell us why you would want to not include at least the part of the email you are replying to?

Well... there were those days when disk space was at premium... :-) I guess it's just a reflex of those days and due to the fact that it's redundant and after a few replies becomes confusing to read. LC

That still wouldn't help much if others keep quoting all. Only few messages that you write will be quote free, all others not. If you feel alone, and need more messages, you'll be surprised how many friends you have that will remind you that quoting is polite, forgetting the word proper, like in the sentence:"Proper quoting is polite." All and no quoting is not, both for the same reason, readability. First is the reason for your question, the second one will result in back and fort switching between two windows, to see original message and your answer, trying to guess correlation between statements. -- Regards, Rajko.

If you highlight (select) only the text you want to reply to, and then make your reply, only the text that you highlighted will show in the reply message. Then you do your response and send it off. Bob S.
