I downloaded the latest Realplayer and it works fine except for one vital detail. There is no sound.

Hello, popos up saying,
"Cannot open the audio device. Another application might be using it" and in the console i see "/dev/dsp: No such device"
I'm running Suse 7.1 with KDE 2.2.1
Any help is appriciated.

I though /dev/dsp was a symlink to /dev/dsp0. At least it is on *my* SuSE 7.1 Linux Box. Is yours?? --Thomas Adam license the

Yes it is. lrwxrwxrwx 1 root audio 4 jul 22 23:35 /dev/dsp -> dsp0 crw------- 1 olle users 14, 3 jan 19 2001 /dev/dsp0 I've tried changing both owners and rights to dsp0. Didn't work.
