I'd like to be able to query a website and see what it runs on : Operating system, Web server, and perhaps ISP. Are there any nice commands in SuSE 8.1 for this? Best wishes - Ken

Not sure about a command, but visit http://www.netcraft.co.uk and type the name of a web site into their search engine. It will give you all of the above information.
Thanks. That looks like just what I want. Best wishes - Ken On Saturday 03 May 2003 9:16 am, Ladislav Bodnar wrote:

If you are running mozilla, or probably netscape7, you can install "livehttpheaders". A very useful tool to watch headers in realtime. http://livehttpheaders.mozdev.org/ -- use Perl; #powerful programmable prestidigitation
Thanks for your suggestion. But all I need is the netcraft site that Ladislav Bodnar pointed out ot me on this list. Thanks again for taking an interest in my problem. Best wishes - Ken On Saturday 03 May 2003 1:41 pm, zentara wrote:
