Hi, and thanks ahead of time for any help. Here's my problem and how it started: /dev/hda = Maxtor 7200 RPM 20 GB /dev/hdb = WD 5200 RPM 2 GB I had windows on hda mandrake 7.0 on hdb erased mandrake, formatted hdb to FAT32 backed up files on to hdb erased hda put suse 6.3 on which I'm using now. I want to mount hdb to /hdb so I can access those files. According to the output of fdisk, it seems that you have formatted hdb5 in
HPFS or NTFS. You should put ntfs in your fstab instead of vfat.
