Not sure how to word this, but some time ago there was a thread about Firewall 2 when enabled shutting down traffic, searched the archives since before 9.0 ws released and can't find the threads for the life of me !! Would anyone perhaps remember what changes were needed so I can enable my firewall w/out hindering http requests? It's not browser or email client specific, as neither will reach when the firewall is enabled, stop it via the run editor and all is well.. I have done all the security updates available(afaik, via yast). In re: to Bastille, saw mention that a symbolic link ws missing in this app, downloaded the patch via yast here as well, but no luck getting this to work either..must be run as root perhaps, w/the command "InteractiveBastille", as ws the case with Mandrake a few years ago...anyone out there running Bastille? Thank you all for your time..

It was something related to enabling or disabling IPV6 - as I don't have SuSE 9, I don't need to remember. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
