[SLE] `setfont -o' problem?
Hi, people. This is for SuSE 6.2, in console mode (that is, not within X). `setfont -o FILE' used to save into `FILE' the binary contents of the current font used to make the display. It does not seem to work anymore for me, as I systematically get: setfont: KDFONTOP: No space left on device (and in case you wonder, yes, there is plenty of room on disks :-). A while ago, I wrote a font editor which saved the current font at editor start, in view of restoring it as it was, at editor exit time, and I noticed the problem while trying to use it again, today. Does someone else observe the same problem? Does someone know a way around this problem? P.S. - By the way, looking around, I stumbled on the file: /usr/lib/kbd/consoletrans/utflist which says: # Test for checking the unicode maps corresponding to # various fonts. Try # for i in 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 # do # unicode_start iso$i.f16 iso$i # less -r utflist # done # unicode_stop Does someone know what are these `unicode_start' and `unicode_stop' commands?
