The XFCE4 files were rpm files. I have no idea how I got the transcode files, or why they had anything to do with installing XFCE4.
Seems kinda far-fetched that it would be causing a problem....

Dennis, How are you installing XFce4? I installed the rpms with transcode installed without problems. Can't imagine why or how transcode would have anything to do with XFce4?
