Hi, I would like to mount smb-shares with the "credentials" of the user that logs in. I made a script that does the mounting, but this needs to be run as root. Is it possible to let this run as root when a user logs in ? I tried .profiles but this seems not to work (I think this is not running as root). Are there other possibilities ? AFAIK fstab could mount those shares but this is done at boot, so with "fixed" credentials. I tried smb4k but this seems not to work properly as non-root. Maybe I configured something wrong. Any thoughts are much appreciated. P.S. I'm running Suse 10.0. -- Met vriendelijke groeten, Koenraad Lelong R&D Manager ACE electronics n.v.
