In conjunction with my problems with the hp1020, I am told I need to install C and C++ compilers. How do I find them in YAST? What are they called? I've looked in the 9.2 manuals, which were the last before Novell decided we didn't need manuals, but couldn't find any reference to them. (I'm actually running 10.0.) YaST -> Software ->Software Management (or "Install and Remove Software" - I'm not sure which SuSE 10 has) -> Selections -> C/C++ Compiler and Tools Dmitry

As Buddy said, go into YAST and Install/Remove Software and change the drop down to "Selections" and just check teh C/C++ Compiler and Tools section, for all development tools, or just gcc/+ etc. if you don't want everything. The Reference manual is also still included by the way. On my 10.0 DVD it is in the ./docu/en/reference_en.pdf file. It is also in German, Spaninsh, French, Italian, Japanese, Brazilian Portugese, and simplified and traditional Chinese. Not sure with SUSE OSS version of 10, if there wasn't enough space on the media, these would, I guess, be in one of the standard repositories. Dave

Look for gcc.
Hi there on the list, Is there anyway that I can change the " , " on my numberpad to " ." for gnucash only. It should still be " ," for all other programs. I have a German keyboard and I allways have to use the period from the writing part instead of being able to simply use the num pad. Or anyway to get gnucash to accept " ," as a separator for cents Thanks in advance Paul Ryan
