Intel CS430 USB PC camera with Linux?
Hello Linux folkz, Could somebody tell me please if it possible to make Intel CS430 USB PC camera working with Linux? What driver it's required and is it included into vanilla 2.4.x kernel? Thank you in advance for any information Alex -- MS Windows users should be covered under the Americans with disabilities Act.
I looked on www.linux-usb.org There's no mention of the CS430, but the CS630 is listed as not yet supported. JDL Alex Daniloff wrote:

I think Philips webcams are known for having good linux support. When I was in Circuit City last, they had several Philips models to choose from. I'd like to go back there with the list and see if some of those are on the list. http://www.smcc.demon.nl/webcam/./ *************************************************** Powered by SuSE Linux 7.1 Professional KDE 2.0.1 KMail 1.1.99 Bryan S.
