Is there anyone use fax server as production use (daily basis) ? My boss wants me to build fax server, my first option is winfax, but I really want to use in linux instead. What we needs are, it can shared, forward fax to user pc, batch sent, scheduled sent, can be accessed fro windows, basicly what fax server does.. So, any input would be so much appreciate.
Hylafax.
Yes, and there is even a OpenSUSE package for Hylafax. I've never tried it from the package in OpenSUSE but I have run on a CentOS box and it works very very well. ========== Is there any hylafax client for windows ? I've not used any of these, but last time I looked the paid clients looked more user friendly, but I'm sure one or more of the free clients will suit most needs.

I haven't tried any other client for windows but the non-free HylaFSP client for windows works flawlessly. It is fairly easy to setup and then it appears as a printer driver for Windows users which is about as easy as it gets. I think there is a free 30 day trial if you want to try it out. If anyone knows of a free windows and/or linux client that works as well I'd be interested to hear it. I've been told of a java one that works on any system. I think it is named YajHFC (http://yajhfc.berlios.de/), you can find it in google. Also, the hylafax home page lists a few suitable clients. - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
