This one works for me: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Factory:/Desktop/openSU... It should be updated often as it changes a lot. If you see the problem with some software run 'zypper up' first, then, if problem persist, report it. The Community repo is under discussion on opensuse-kde mail list: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE4:/Community/ There are some extra packages, but recently it had glitch that led to discussion, so use it on your own.
Pete .

I forgot to mention that STABLE: (you said you wanted the most recent stable) is 4.3.5. There is no 'officially' stable 4.4. You get whatever is in Factory: that day. Factory != stable. You have to decide for one or the other. -- Roger Oberholtzer OPQ Systems / Ramböll RST Ramböll Sverige AB Krukmakargatan 21 P.O. Hi . Ok well i guess it boils down to how stable is the 4.4 tree as far as not crashing all the time , If i tell this guy to ad repos and then it starts playing up on him i get to spend dang hours on the phone sorting him out (how the hell he can afford it on a mobile in the UK i will never know) I'll have a think on it i do believe i aint into excessive work :-) Cheers Pete . -- Powered by openSUSE 11.2 Milestone 2 (x86_64) Kernel: 2.6.30-rc6-git3-4- default KDE: 4.2.86 (KDE 4.2.86 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090514)) "release 1" 08:24 up 15 days 22:35, 2 users, load average: 0.26, 0.18, 0.07

While you are absolutely correct, when users are asking for the location of KDE repos it is far easier / safer to simply refer to http://en.opensuse.org/KDE/Repositories which hopefully will never go out of date, and has a more detailed explanation of what is in each repo than can fit in an email. It is just a recommendation to avoid quoting actual repository url's (which could change) in communication.
