Hey folks I`ve got a problem with my ISP When I`m using normal public (in poland) ISP after couple hours of waiting for succesfull conection my SuSE connect and start to ppp. When I want to do the same with my private ISP my ppp daemon dies unexpectly..... What should I do? & what should I ask my ISP to create succesfull conection. Just for the record, I am having the same problem. And, I have a RedHat
system with a fresh install and it does the same thing. That would seem to
imply I have a config error that I am duplicating on both configurations.
However, I have read through everything I can find in print on the topic and
nothing I have done seems to correct the problem. I get the impression that
my configuration is rejecting the assignment of the dynamic IP or in some
other way is killing the connect because the logs appear to indicate that
the SIGHUP disconnect call is local to my maching. That's only a hunch...
Kind regards,
