Much as I hate to cave to Yahoo's unethical tinkerings I have to have access to Yahoo IM at the College, period. Has anyone gotten their Linux/Unix app running under SuSE 9? http://messenger.yahoo.com/messenger/download/unix.html I need to get this up and running first thing in the morning Monday else set up a M$ box merely to facilitate Yahoo IM (no way M$ invades my personal notebook). Gaim, Kopete, Everybuddy are all useless at the moment due to Yahoo's nonsense and I cannot depend on them when they work then don't then do. I have to have consistent Yahoo IM access. Thanks! dmc

Try the RedHat 9.0 rpm. it works fine on my 8.2 pro box. the only hitch is that I have to start it from the run command as "ymessenger", but thats no biggie. L.C. Miller

What window manager? With kde and gnome, you can just create an app launcher on your lower desktop panel. With windowmaker you can add a menu item for it.
