docs and see what the procedure is for setting it all up. Mostly, do I reformat the hda and allocate DOS/fat32 partitions, let VMWare do it, how to install the Winapps via vmware, etc.
Should be a hoot, looking forward to axeing Windoze......
The only Winapps apps that I have to use is Word 2000, and Project 2000. I've been able to do everything else a network engineer could hope to do via Linux.

I've been using VMware for about 3 years (on top of linux) and it is
as difficult as one might think. I use it for the same reason will be using it, forced use of some M$
not products.

VMware actually lets you go 2 different routes. By default it will create the "filesystems" in a folder of your choosing, a virtual filesystem. Or you can partition a harddrive and use that directly. I let VMware create the virtual filesystems, that way I can move them around at will just like moving any file. Experiment a little, thats how most people learn.
