I had demand dialing working fine in 9.0 but it appears broken in 9.1. I'm using a vanilla kernel and have the ppp filtering selected and in fact am using the same 2.6.7 kernel config that I was using with 9.0. Anyone else having any problems with demand dialing? -- +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ + Bruce S. It no longer works for me in 9.1 - it may be a problem with ISDN and the new kernel, but we're soon to get ADSL here in the frozen north, so I haven't yet worried about it. -- JDL

I wonder if there is an option on the pppd compile that might be needed.... As I said, I am using the same kernel and config as I was on 9.0 so nothing has changed for me relating to the kernel. And I'm in the frozen north too... (northern MI) and just maybe, just maybe tomorrow I'll find out I can receive the local ISP via wireless... It's the only braodband in town at the moment. -- +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ + Bruce S.
