E.g. when I press a <&> I get a <7>, and different other keys behave like that, only letters seem OK. Locally everything works OK. When I VNC from the same machine (Win with ThightVNC) to a 9.0 machine, everything is OK. When I try to change the keyboard via the VNC connection, this seems not to work i.e. the keyboard mapping stays the same (in the test-strip). B.T.W. I'm using a Belgian keyboard. Where can I look next ? TIA -- Met vriendelijke groeten, Koenraad Lelong R&D Manager ACE electronics n.v.

That fixed it, except for a few 'dead keys', like the message said. Many thanks. -- Met vriendelijke groeten, Koenraad Lelong R&D Manager ACE electronics n.v.

There's now an online update released today for this, I've been having grief with the # key on a UK keyboard through VNC. After the update it works fine. David -- David Bottrill www.bottrill.org Registered Linux user number 330730 Internet SIP Phone: 1-747-244-2699
