[opensuse] Doubts on Repository
Listmates, I would know if packages available from Base System: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Base:/System/openSUSE_11.4/ are newer than ones presents into Update and why Base System exists for. Thanks. Check the description of the repo, in this case at: https://build.opensuse.org/project/show?project=Base%3ASystem Basically: Base:System is a development project - for the purpose of development of our next releases. The 11.4 packages are there just for testers. Thanks Andreas, So I guess it is not a good idea to switch packages to this Repo and better stay on "official" 11.4 ones right? It'S indeed not a good idea. If you need newer packages, I suggest to look at Tumbleweed! I had some packages installed from Base System (dunno why) so I reverted to openSUSE 11.4 and disabled the above Repo. Looking forward to 12.1!
