No Expert pane using YaST for DNS or DHCP server
Hi, I am using SLES9 with KDE desktop and I initially configured DNS and DHCP using YaST with the 'wizard' option. Everything I have read says I can change / modify this configuration using YaST, but when I select the DNS Server or DHCP Server options in Yast from my KDE desktop (so it's the graphical yast program) I do not see the 'expert' list in the left hand pane. All I see is the summary of 'start during boot' and the start/stop now options in the right hand pane, with bottom buttons of abort and finish. It looks like YaST does not let these modules display the extra left hand pane they need. If I run yast in a text console, I DO get the expert options for the same YaST modules. This would appear to me as a bug, but hopefully I am simply missing something. What am I doing wrong that doesn't let me see the left hand pane of these modules using YaST in KDE? (In Gnome it works fine because the dns and dhcp server modules are opened in a separate window).
