Anyone else having trouble? This is serious. If lost a good number of my fonts, and many apps are virtually useless. I may have to roll back until they get this fixed. I need to know whether it's just me, so I know if I sould report the problem. STH
There have been reports AND resolutions in the KDE group. I watched them flash by but didn't pay attention. Check there for answers. /H

No problem at all, did you upgrade your XFree86 to 4.3 too? If you did, did you: (1) Upgrade you freetype2 and QT3 to the versions provided in the 4.3 directory? (2) Rebuild your font cache? I think you're one rev back, and from what I can tell, you're better off that way. I rolled back and have my fonts back. They put new bits up today. You've been warned! STH

I am not one rev back. (1) My XFree86 (4.3.0-17) and QT3 (3.1.1-64) is the latest from SuSE located at: ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/X/XFree86/XFree86-4.3.0-SuSE/suse81 (2) My Freetype2 is actually 2.1.4rc2. (3) My KDE system is 3.1.1 from ftp.kde.org, with the exception of KOffice which is from CVS and KDE-PIM which is build from the latest Kontact snapshot. I have no problems with my fonts. I think you forgot to remove the font cache files and let SuSEconfig regenerate them. This has been enountered before and there are many posts about it in the archives. -- Ben Rosenberg ---===---===---===--- mailto:ben@whack.org Tell me what you believe.. Or just use the command: fonts-config -f Charles - -- "Linux, because up-time matters gawk; talk; date; wine; grep; touch; unzip; touch; gasp; finger; gasp; mount;\ fsck; more; yes; gasp; umount; make clean; make mrproper; sleep." - --Drunken Bastard -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.7 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+hUUD3epPyyKbwPYRAr5bAJwIjMcoe+cdYARfG6ddx9DNU/ZJjwCfTUmw rKbmHGHfVpgOWRpkVnngo4U= =WYXH -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
