I changed /etc/sendmail.cf. Masquerading was on but not working on the
envelope. I replaced the envelope rule number with the header rule,
and it worked. SuSEconfig tries to change sendmail.cf however, so the
change should probably go elesewhere. Failed to find a sendmail.mc
file.
It seems to work correctly now, but I have not done the multidrop
addresses yet.

You need a line that saids:
FEATURE ('masquerade_envelope')
in your .mc file and then rebuild the .cf file.
