I have installed the imap package on my SuSE8.2 Pro system and I see that the /etc/xinet.d/imap file only contains configuration for the pop2, pop3, and imap services. On my RHL system, I also had configurations for imaps and pop3s for mail serving using SSL. I think I can just copy the imap/pop3 definition and change the service to imaps/pop3s, but perhaps there is an RPM I need that I have overlooked. Thanks! -Michael

Correct observation. I believe it is an oversight.

And there should be here for SuSE also.

Basically correct, but look at the below for full instructions. http://sdb.suse.de/en/sdb/html/imap_ssl.html -- Joe Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Web Address: http://www.mydestiny.net/~joe_morris Registered Linux user 231871 God said, I AM that I AM. Correction, not really "full" instructions. Adapt for pop3s. -- Joe Morris New Tribes Mission Email Address: Joe_Morris@ntm.org Web Address: http://www.mydestiny.net/~joe_morris Registered Linux user 231871 God said, I AM that I AM. I say, by the grace of God, I am what I am.
