Hi All & Doug, who typed.... <snip>
Do I understand you to mean that you're running the Windows version of Corel Office 2000 under WINE? ...

<snip> Nope. I am running Linux Corel Office 2000, which employs wine. What I found useful, was the updated installer script & wine. *BFN* Greek Geek :-) The Bible was written by the same people who said the Earth was flat.

Can you give the URLs for that script and that version of Wine? (I presume you mean Winelib, but maybe not.) I gave up with WPO2000 months ago because it was hopelessly unstable. Does the new Wine stuff make it significantly better?

<snip> Here is the script.... ftp://ftp.corel.com/pub/linux/Office2000/updates/installscript/ Here is the updated wine, which was not put together by Corel, but rather is a cvs snap shot.... Check out the Corel list for further tricks of this sort. http://students.cs.byu.edu/~torriem/linux/corelwine-cvs-0.1-1.i386.rpm Significantly better, well different people on the Corel Listie say'z different thingz. I DO find it better, hence my recommending to this here list. Your mileage may vary. *BFN* & Good luck. Greek Geek :-) Let me show you how the guards used to do it.
