[opensuse] GoogleEarth never reaches past splash screen
Hi list, Just finished upgrading my laptop from 9.3 to 10.2 (online update performed). I'm busy checking that everything survived the big switch, and I just noticed that GoogleEarth now refuses to start (never reaches past its splash screen). Latest version of GE available. Tried reinstalling from the .bin -- no effect. Any hint ? TIA Cheers. Bye. Ph. No, but it used to work without (through Mesa, which is still installed). Ph. Start GE from a shell and you will see a bunch of messages. Invariably, its missing GL -- _____________________________________ John Andersen -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

First thing I tried. No message whatsoever. -----------------------------<cut>-------------------------------- pan@kermit:/opt/google-earth> ./googleearth -----------------------------<cut>-------------------------------- Stays like that forever, until I terminate the process. Nothing in /var/log/messages either (not that I supposed there would be). Ph.
