13.1 Hi I need a copy of drbd 8.4 so I did a one click install from opensuse.org
But I get this error: An error occurred while initializing the software repository. Details: network:ha-clustering:Factory: [|] Valid metadata not found at specified URL History: - File /var/tmp/TmpFile.9qpP14 doesn't contain public key data
Try again?
At this url:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/network:/ha-clustering:/Factory/op...
1. Could someone put 'Valid metadata' to satisfy yast? 2. Any other recommended drdb 8.4 repos? Thanks, L x
Is it a fault here maybe?

"Installation" of a repo is little other than the placement of a valid repo file in /etc/zypp/repos.d/ and refreshing the cache. 1-Check if the repo file in /etc/zypp/repos.d/ matches the applicable one on the mirrors: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/network:/ha-clustering:/Factory/op... or http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/network:/ha-clustering:/Factory/op... 2-Try the installation using zypper instead of one-click: a-zypper ref; zypper in drbd or b-download the package manually first, then try installing the downloaded package with zypper or rpm If installation again fails, ask on the opensuse-buildservice list why. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." Hi Thanks. Never realised it was that easy. I put this: [network_ha-clustering_Factory] name=Factory High Availability/Clustering packages (devel project for openSUSE:Factory) (openSUSE_13.1) type=rpm-md baseurl=http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/network:/ha-clustering:/Factory/op... gpgcheck=1 gpgkey=http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/network:/ha-clustering:/Factory/op... enabled=1 in: /etc/zypp/repos.d/network_ha_cluster_stuff.repo did zypper ref and zypper dup It pulled in the new drbd:) L x -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Do you subscribe to the Factory list? If so look at the reply I got from Neil Rickert on the 2 July in response to my thread, "Who is right, who is wrong?". But if you don't go visiting there then his response was: "Yast works fine for this. But here's the guide: Step 1: yast --ncurses and remove the package "libproxy1-config-kde4" Thereafter, the GUI version should work. Step2: Yast --> Software Management Search for "libproxy1-config-kde4", and blacklist it. Otherwise it will be reinstalled. Once those steps are done, you should be able to use Yast normally. If you have Gnome installed, then "yast2 --gtk" should also work normally." I have now added all the necessary repo to the factory rolling version.
