[SLE] Mount to NTFS partition
I need some help on how to mount my 7.3 WS to a NTFS partition in first harddisk, 7.3 is currently on second harddisk (Both IDE). It was automatically mounted during 7.1 but the mount-point is missing after upgraded (reinstall) to 7.3. Dennis/sg
Are you having trouble mounting the NTFS partition specifically, or is this a general "how do I use mount" question? If you want to mount the drive all the time, you should have a line for it in /etc/fstab (make sure you specify the right FS type, as "ntfs"), and you also need to create the mount point you specify there (just use mkdir).

hda2?? Looks like that ntfs partition is hda1. Make sure the directory /windows/C is there, and then type:
mount /windows/C
What's your output?

Yes, you're right, typo err, should be hda1. The missing 'C' folder in Windows directory causes the mounting problem. It's working now, thanks Jason :) Dennis/sg Jason A.Van Cleve wrote:
