Hello SuSE folkz, Could you please share your personal/professional experience on what is the best dual Athlon motherboard on the market in terms of stability and performance? Thanks in advance. Alex
I have used both Asus and Tyan (actually a couple of different Tyans - 2462 and 2466, I think)... they have all worked wonderfully. the only thing with the 2462 is that it requires a special power supply. - Herman On Tue, 24 Sep 2002, Alex Daniloff wrote: ->Hello SuSE folkz, ->Could you please share your ->personal/professional experience ->on what is the best dual Athlon ->motherboard on the market in terms ->of stability and performance? ->Thanks in advance. ->Alex -> ->

I've got a tyan s2460 and love it. It seems to be more for the home user as it will use a regular power supply. the 2462 seems to be more for servers. My tyan s2466n is sweet. The only thing about the tyan boards is that their bios is lacking in features. Other that that I've had no problems with it and it preforms very well. Mark
By far the most capable is 2468UGN. If cost is no constraint, I'm
sure you'll choose it ;)
