everything in its place, or, where are xmms/skins directory and nautilus/themes
I downloaded a new skin for xmms, but I didn't find a dir like xmms/skins to put it (sorry if it seems silly, but I'm a 3-day newbie). the same I can say for this theme http://jimmac.musichall.cz/themes.php3?skin=2 The creator, Jakub "Jimmac" Steiner, says "Download and untar to ~/.nautilus/themes/" but I don't know where it stays. a. -- Adagilson Batista Bispo da Silva Bibliotecário FIOCRUZ-Centro de Pesquisa Ageu Magalhães Fone 81 3302-6524

It's Skins, with a capital S. If the directory doesn't exist just create it mkdir ~/.xmms/Skins note the leading dot in .xmms Anders

For a 3-day newbie we perhaps should explain that ~/ means users' home directory e.g. /home/username/.xmms/Skins ???
note the leading dot in .xmms
