I'm trying to use dcraw to manipulate my raw data files from my camera. I'm having trouble loading the plugin for the gimp, I'm using gimp1.2: After installing "dcraw", do "gimptool --install rawphoto.c". Now the GIMP can load raw photos without creating a PPM file. For programmers, rawphoto.c shows how to create a graphical interface to dcraw without modifying it. When I execute the gimptool command I get a long list of errors: /usr/include/libgimp/gimpimage_pdb.h:130: error: parse error before "image_ID" /usr/include/libgimp/gimpimage_pdb.h:132: error: parse error before "gimp_image_set_component_visible" /usr/include/libgimp/gimplayer_pdb.h:63: error: parse error before "layer_ID" /usr/include/libgimp/gimplayer_pdb.h:64: error: parse error before '*' token /usr/include/libgimp/gimplayer_pdb.h:64: error: parse error before "layer_ID" /usr/include/libgimp/gimplayer_pdb.h:65: error: parse error before "gimp_layer_set_name" /usr/include/libgimp/gimptools_pdb.h:38: error: parse error before "drawable_ID" /usr/include/libgimp/gimptools_pdb.h:41: error: parse error before "gimp_blend" /usr/include/libgimp/gimptools_pdb.h:41: error: parse error before "drawable_ID" /usr/include/libgimp/gimptools_pdb.h:55: error: parse error before "gimp_bucket_fill" Can someone tell me what's happening here? Thanks, Jerome

In another post, you show that you are using Gimp2.0 from usr-local-bin.org but you are using the beta headers here. I would make sure that the devel files match the program. Another words update the devel files to the ULB ones.

Try gimptool-2.0 --install rawphoto.c > gimp_tool_output 2>&1 Theory: every process has three default 'channels': standard input (channel 0), standard output (channel 1) and standard error (channel 2).
