Disregard my previous message, duh, I need to learn to read before I post - openSUSE != SLE. When it hits public beta, it *should* be at http://www.novell.com/beta - it's not there yet. Right. I'm wondering where I can get it now.

Nowhere, assuming you mean the 11 SLE. For two reasons: One, that the betas are not made public, it's a private testing program (contrary to opensuse practice). Two, it has as big problem and has been removed (same as the beta of opensuse). - -- Cheers, Carlos E. Dunno. How about asking them? They have a beta testing program. There was a request for testers recently in the factory list: http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-factory/2008-09/msg00312.html - -- Cheers, Carlos E. For Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), we announced a separate beta program; http://developer.novell.com/wiki/index.php/SLE_11_ISV_BETA But at this point we have accepted most of the ISV applications we are going to take. As a member of Novell's PartnerNet, you would have been notified. All technology partners have access to the beta to download and try for themselves anyway. Or, as pointed out here, developing on openSUSE 11.1 beta is about the same thing, so would be a good head start. Cheers, Darren -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
I already discovered that. ANYONE can get the beta. Simply sign up for
partnernet, there is no cost or obligation, you just need to answer a
few questions.
Once you signed up for PartnerNet go to http://download.novell.com,
login, and go to the "My Downloads" section and SLED and SLES beta are
there for anyone to download. There is no need to be invited to the
test or apply. I signed up for partnernet and had instant access to
the beta.
I just wish the SUSE people were more open about giving this info out.
I asked someone from Novell and quickly got the answer on how to
download the beta.
I dont see any GPL source code on this beta.....
