Hello I installed suse 9. and suse 9.1 with postfix and squirrelmail with IMAP and so on. when I try to enter squirrelmail I get wrong user or password.. But If I try pop3 I get the messages off the server. How can I resolve this situation. thanks
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello, Just now I replied to another user with the same: Have you tried the alternative RPM package with IMAP admiting non-encrypted passwords?. It is a bit less secure but it worked for some desperate admins (like me). They are the imap-pwd packages in directories ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/misc/suser-gbv/rpms/SuSE_9.0/ ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/misc/suser-gbv/rpms/SuSE_9.1/ are the same package than 'imap' shiped by SuSE but more relaxed about passwords.
