Thanks Kurt and Gerrit for your response. Being a novice with Linux, I
think
that I have the apm on in the Kernel but it doesn't work for me, either.
Am
I to understand that we are the only three with this problem or is it just that other people are just not concerned enough (or simply don't know the answer!) ?
Is there anyone out there for whom the monitor power management does work
and
did you have to do anything special to get it to work?
Would really appreciate some help. Thanks
